Watch Pepsi in Action
Calm. Confident. Capable
In this video, Pepsi is ridden by five different riders — including lesson students — while surrounded by unfamiliar horses in a new indoor arena. The outdoor clips show her first ride in that arena and her first time working the Heel-O-Matic.
True to her nature, she stays steady, willing, and focused no matter what’s happening around her.

About Pepsi
Pepsi is a steady, kind, and people-oriented mare with the temperament and versatility to suit a wide range of riders and disciplines. She’s brave, confident, and smooth to ride — suitable for beginners yet sensitive and athletic enough for roping, gymkhana, or arena work. Her willing attitude and steady mind make her equally at home in a lesson or 4-H program, as a ranch partner, or as a dependable mount for a confident youth or adult rider.
Training & Ride
• Quiet, uncomplicated, and forgiving under saddle.
• Maintains a steady rhythm and smooth transitions.
• Can be ridden out alone; mildly herd-bound on a loose rein but corrects easily and stays responsive.
• Suitable for beginner through intermediate riders; handy enough for advanced use.
• Started on the Heel-O-Matic, showing natural focus and interest in cattle work.
• Works comfortably in a halter, bosal, or jointed three-piece curb with a mild port.
Exposure & Experience
• Ridden on roads, fields, and hills, around dogs, other horses, and trees.
• Comfortable in new arenas and hauls easily.
• Confident with obstacles — poles, bridge, tires, tarps, kiddie pool, and pool noodles.
• Has had her feet roped, been ridden bareback, and handles new experiences calmly and willingly.
Health & Management
• Sound; currently in front shoes and will likely need them for another year while her hooves finish regrowing after prior mismanagement.
• Sound barefoot; shoes provide support during hoof recovery.
• Cresty neck is ongoing; metabolic panel negative.
• Teeth done fall 2024.
• Up to date on vaccines and deworming — Strangles, West Nile, Sleeping Sickness, and Tetanus.
• Easy keeper — maintains condition well on hay only.
• Turns out well with mares or geldings; mid-to-low herd rank; settles quickly into work.
Ideal Home
A versatile home that values a reliable, capable mare with a great mind and solid base. Pepsi would excel in a lesson or 4-H program, or with a confident youth or adult rider looking for a partner to grow with in ranch, roping, or gymkhana disciplines. She’s steady, adaptable, and ready to go to work.
