Alora Skoog
Assistant Trainer
Alora brings fresh perspective and energy to Foundations, blending her strong horsemanship skills with a passion for clear communication. She has earned her Level 7 Horsemanship in 4-H and shown successfully across multiple disciplines, building a foundation of versatility and patience with horses. In addition, she holds a Green Certificate in Equine Technician from Lethbridge Polytechnic, demonstrating her commitment to professional development in the equine industry. At Foundations, Alora assists in daily training, contributes to content creation, and helps prepare the next generation of well-rounded, confident horses.

Jason Skoog
Head Trainer & Co-Founder
Jason leads Foundations with decades of hands-on horsemanship and a calm, methodical approach to training. A CHA Certified Coach in both Western and English, he blends technical skill with a deep respect for each horse’s individuality. Jason specializes in developing versatile, confident horses through clear communication, patience, and consistency. Beyond the arena, he is a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, bringing valuable experience in using horses to foster personal growth and leadership. His steady presence and focus on long-term success set the tone for Foundations’ training philosophy.

Amber Skoog Operations & Co-Founder
Amber is the organizational force behind Foundations, overseeing business operations, client relations, and brand development. A CHA Assistant Instructor and Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, she brings both equine knowledge and a thoughtful approach to connecting riders, clients, and horses. While her focus today is on managing the business and guiding its long-term vision, her background in coaching and equine-assisted learning informs how Foundations delivers programs and supports its community. Amber ensures that every detail — from operations to customer experience — reflects the integrity and professionalism at the heart of the brand.
